This Service may include third-party content (e.g. YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites). This means that the providers of such content (hereafter 'Third-Party Providers') will be able to determine the user's IP address, as without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to the user's browser. The content of the Plugin is transferred directly to the user's browser by Facebook and embedded in the webpage. The service provider therefore has no control over the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this Plugin and provides users with the following information: by embedding Plugins, Facebook can be informed that the user has accessed the relevant page of the Service. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can connect the visit to the user's Facebook account. When users interact with the Plugins (for example by clicking the Like button or by leaving a comment) this information is sent by the user's browser directly to Facebook and saved there. Even if the user does not have a Facebook account, Facebook can still determine and save the user's IP address. According to Facebook, in Germany only anonymised IP addresses are saved.
